Coni Text continues to interact in contexti writing spaces, sites, and events with media and collaborations
FILI SOLILOQUY
This film 'Fili Soliloquy' is an iteration from the poem 'fili' performed in 'Reign of Contexti.' The poem expresses the textual entity of Coni Text, the 'post poet', alongside the lineage of the fili. During one part of the performance, Coni Text wears Kelly Malone's handwriting, a shredded and woven tuigen--a cape the fili used to wear. She uses a fan of her own writing as an iteration of the Venice performance, which is pictured in the footage.
DIVINE FABRIC
The film 'Divine Fabric' (see link below) is a series of text sites and images taken and produced by Malone which played as part of the exhibition, 'Reign of Contexti.' The film played in another room adjacent to Malone's installation, 'A Room of One's Own.' The soundtrack in the film is taken from contexti (Malone's shredded handwriting) raining onto sheets of plastic while constructing the giant sheets of contextiosaics for the contexti room (approx. 1m x 150m of contextiosaics).
